Bare Beauty SD is a small studio run by Jessica Duhay, who does the waxing herself. The studio focuses on waxing and brow services, and the owner describes it as a judgment-free space welcoming women of all sizes, backgrounds, ethnicities and hair types. Waxing is offered for women only.

Brow services range from a classic wax-and-tweeze shape finished with a conceal highlight, to a shape with added upper lip waxing, a shape with a tint, and a lamination service that combines lamination, waxing and shaping. The fullest brow option adds a tint customized to the look a client wants. The brow tint leaves a slight stain on the skin that can last up to a week, and the color on the hair can last a few weeks. It is not recommended for clients with very little hair, and the studio lists it as safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Waxing covers the Brazilian, which includes the butt strip, and a new client version of the same service at the same price. Add-ons include a Brazilian with full buttcheeks, a Brazilian with full legs, and underarm waxing. Waxing works best once hair has grown about three weeks. It is not recommended for clients using Retinol, Retin-A or Accutane, and clients taking antibiotics or Accutane cannot be waxed. Clients using retinol or certain acids on the face should message the studio before a brow service.

Booking requires a card on file, which holds the appointment without charging it. Cancellations need 48 hours notice, and same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 50 percent of the service. Payment is accepted by card, Apple Pay, cash and Zelle, and gift cards are sold. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings between $50 and $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 7 AM to 9 PM, Wednesday 7 AM to 12 PM, Sunday 5 PM to 10 PM, and the studio is closed Thursday through Saturday.
