The studio is at 6690 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. Before the studio, Lois Astrid pursued education in business management in New York and reports 15 years of training with established stylists. Her work later moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
The $35 consultation is a one-on-one conversation about what the client wants from their hair. Many locs and interlocking services are priced as varies, because appointment length depends on the service and the number of locs.
Services are organized into braids, twists, interloc experiences, palm roll experiences, Lil Bougie experiences for children aged 7 to 12, micro loc repairs and consultations. The studio sells its own hair oil and moisturizer and links to a shop for Baje Essentials products. Its FAQs advise that protective styles should not be kept longer than 3 months.
