Aurum Experience

Aurum Experience is a color and extension business in Frisco, founded by Dani Canerday, who works as an extension specialist and color artist. The studio's color services are grouped into four packages plus a mini touch-up, and extension services are offered alongside them.

The color packages start with the Sunkissed Package from $275, a visit of about 2 hours 15 minutes that includes a haircut, treatment, scalp massage, and a choice of hairline foil, gloss refresh, or root tap; it is suggested every 4 to 6 visits a year. Golden Hour starts at $330 and runs about 3 hours 30 minutes, with full head foil in place of the hairline option, suggested 3 to 6 times a year. After Glow starts at $440 and covers full blonding or dimensional foil with advanced placement, custom glossing, a root tap, and finishing, suggested 1 to 2 times a year. Radiance starts at $555 and is meant for significant change, with more customization than a standard full foil. Modern Face Frame is a mini touch-up for existing clients with fine to medium density hair.

Extensions come in two methods. Concealed Bead Extensions are adhesive-free, attached with a horseshoe-shaped row of beads and sewn-in wefts, and take about an hour per row. K-Tip Extensions are individual keratin-bonded pieces, each bond custom placed and blended. Pricing for extensions, including color and installation, is quoted at the consultation based on the result and upkeep desired. Extension clients must book a consultation first and should plan the installation as a full day; a glass of champagne is included.

Booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit for all services, and a service agreement is signed at consultation for extension work. No-shows are charged the full price of the service. Refunds are not offered, though a second consultation is available if expectations are not met. Services carry a guarantee of up to 2 weeks with complimentary adjustments such as gloss changes, added highlights or lowlights, haircut reshaping, or extension placement review. Product and extension returns are accepted only for manufacturing defects. Guests are asked not to bring extra people or children who are not having a service, and clients sign a photography release covering use of photos and video.

Each visit begins with an unhurried consultation that focuses on the client's hair, lifestyle, and goals before any service is chosen.

Guests can settle in with complimentary Wi-Fi, drinks, and light snacks during their visit.
