The aesthetic side centers on collagen induction. MicroNeedling uses a medical pen to create tiny channels in the skin, with numbing cream applied first, and each session includes acupuncture points and LED light therapy. Sessions run 75 to 90 minutes and are typically spaced four to six weeks apart, with three to six usually recommended. NanoNeedling uses fine nano-tips that work within the outer layer of skin without numbing cream, takes 45 to 60 minutes, involves little downtime and can be paired with serums and LED. Cosmetic acupuncture is a series of 60 to 90 minute sessions, usually six to twelve, that combines facial needling with body points and LED to address the face, neck and abdomen. The business presents it as a non-injection alternative to Botox and fillers.
On the medical side, acupuncture is used for acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, sciatica, tendonitis, trigger points, women's health, stress-related disorders and other concerns, and pain treatment may combine acupuncture with cupping, gua sha and trigger point therapy. Electroacupuncture and LED therapy are also available. Each patient begins with a consultation that leads to a personalized plan, and pain care can be coordinated with a patient's physician or physical therapist. Extended appointments are offered for people who have not had acupuncture in more than 18 months, need a motor vehicle accident or workers' compensation re-evaluation, or have a new condition.
Preparation for aesthetic visits is simple: arrive with a clean, makeup-free face, since washing facilities are onsite. Clients should wait at least two weeks after Botox or filler before a MicroNeedling, NanoNeedling or cosmetic acupuncture appointment. After MicroNeedling, skin may look pink or sunburned for one to three days and makeup should be avoided that day, with results most visible two to three weeks later. Acupuncture visits suggest loose clothing, a light meal one to two hours beforehand and no alcohol or strenuous exercise just before treatment. The clinic is in-network with several major carriers and also bills motor vehicle and workers' compensation insurance and some out-of-network plans. Cosmetic and aesthetic treatments are not covered by insurance, so clients are advised to call their carrier about acupuncture benefits.
Combines traditional acupuncture with collagen induction therapies, and builds each treatment plan from a consultation.
