Aura skin studio

Aura skin studio is a skin care studio in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood, at 1714 North 45th Street inside The Spa Loft at Salon Metro. The studio also operates under the Belle Esthetics name online.

The services fall into two groups. Advanced Skincare includes chemical peels made from plant-derived blends, an enzyme peel as a gentler starting point for people new to chemical resurfacing, dermaplaning, HydraFacial MD in classic, signature and deluxe versions, and microneedling. The studio says microneedling may reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars and can improve skin tone and texture, and it describes HydraFacial MD as one of the most powerful non-invasive resurfacing treatments available. Brows & Lashes covers microblading, brow lamination and tinting, eyelash extensions in classic, hybrid and volume styles, lash lifts and lash tints.

Dermaplaning has no downtime and can be added to any facial, and LED light therapy can also be added to any facial. Lash tint can be added on its own to any service. HydraFacial sessions run from 30 minutes to an hour and are recommended monthly, and monthly memberships are available. Chemical peel recovery includes 3 to 5 days of flaking, with newer skin showing about a week later.

Lash extensions begin with a full set, followed by fills every 2 to 3 weeks. Timing depends on how many natural lashes remain: a full set is booked once more than 40% have fallen out, and a fill is booked when over 60% remain. Lashes applied by another artist must be removed and replaced with a full set first. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice, and no-shows or late cancellations are charged the full service amount. Payment plans are offered through Cherry, a third-party provider, with 0% APR options subject to eligibility.

Treatments are sequenced around where a client is in their resurfacing journey, with gentler options like enzyme peels for newcomers. Lash appointments are timed by how many natural lashes are still in place.
