Atomic Barbershop & Salon Tonawanda

Atomic has offered haircuts, color and barbering since 2016. It operates from 63 Main St. in Tonawanda and from 289 Cleveland Dr. in Buffalo, which the site also refers to as its Cheektowaga location. The salon describes its space as inclusive and self-affirming, and it holds Certified Sustainable Salon status.

The menu runs from stylist cuts and curly cuts to under cuts, barber cuts, beard trims, hot towel shaves and simple or complex design add-ons. Color ranges from natural retouches and full natural color through partial and full foils, vivid color, tiered creative color, and platinum card or color correction work that is priced by starting point. Color add-ons, toners and a reparative conditioning treatment are also offered, along with blowouts, braids, fairy hair, formal styling and facial waxing for brows, lip, chin or the full face. Tooth gems are listed as a separate service. Prices are subject to change and some start at a stated amount, so the quote a client receives may differ from the listed figure.

The salon says it keeps up with hair trends and continuing education, uses high-quality products and offers styling tips for care at home. Clients are charged for the service they actually receive, even when it differs from what they booked.
