Atlas Smiles is a dental practice at a suite on SW 3rd Street in Plantation, and it also runs an aesthetics line called Atlas Aesthetics. The practice describes its mission as supporting healthy smiles over the long term through a high-tech patient experience, and it says it brings comprehensive dental care together in one location.

About

Dental care covers general and preventive visits, gum disease treatment, smile makeovers, teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges, dentures, composite fillings, root canals, tooth and wisdom tooth extractions, sedation dentistry, treatment for teeth grinding, and gummy smile treatment. Implant care includes single and multiple implants as well as full arch implants, and orthodontics includes clear aligners from ClearCorrect or Invisalign along with braces.

Visits rely on digital tools, including Digital Smile Design, CBCT imaging, a Planmeca Emerald intraoral scanner, custom surgical guides and in-house 3D printing. For full arch implants, the consultation includes a 3D scan and digital design with a preview before treatment. Surgery places the implants with a custom guide, extractions or bone grafting can be done the same day, and patients may leave with temporary teeth attached. Final teeth are designed and placed after healing, typically over a few months. Sedation dentistry uses local anesthetic and oral sedation prescribed when needed.

Atlas Aesthetics offers Fotona laser treatments, which the practice uses exclusively for its laser therapy. The lasers use two light wavelengths and are non-invasive, and the practice lists treatment for unwanted moles and hairs, facial veins, age spots, forehead wrinkles, crow's feet, under-eye concerns, marionette and laugh lines, and thin or flat lips. Platelet-rich fibrin treatment starts with a blood draw that is spun in a centrifuge, and the prepared material is injected into the treatment areas. The practice also offers TempSure Envi.

Atlas Smiles accepts most dental insurance plans and files claims on the patient's behalf. Third-party financing is available through Cherry Payment Plans, CareCredit and Proceed Finance, and the practice says it aims to keep treatment costs within each patient's budget. A free rewards and membership program offers member rates on laser therapy, referral incentives and birthday treats. The practice serves Florida residents as well as out-of-state patients who travel to Plantation.

Plans care around digital scans, previews and personalized consultations, and aims to keep treatment costs within each patient's budget.

High-tech without feeling corporate, with a welcoming hometown feel, plush chairs and Apple TVs in the treatment area.
