The shop is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Saturdays from 8 AM to 9 PM, and Sundays from 9 AM to 8 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, and same-day appointments are taken first come, first served, though booking ahead is recommended. Clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early. Appointment times are estimates, and the salon contacts clients if it is running behind. Starting prices, which vary by length and size, begin at $40 for men's braids, $80 for cornrows, stitch cornrows and dreadlocks, $125 for crochet, $145 for kids' braids and sew-ins, $160 for box and knotless braids, $195 to $220 for kinky twists, single braids and several box and knotless options, and $210 to $270 for passion twists, tribal braids and faux locs. French, bohemian knotless and goddess knotless braids start at $260. Several entries without listed prices are set by length and size. A complimentary consultation is offered to discuss the look you want.

Hair should be clean, dry, detangled and free of product older than three days, and stretched or blow-dried from roots to tips before the appointment. Most styles need hair at least 3 to 4 inches long. Oils and butters are not accepted as a leave-in. Clients with scalp conditions, bald spots, thin edges or breakage are asked to book a consultation first, and hair bought elsewhere should be dropped off at least one day ahead. No-shows and no-call/no-shows forfeit the deposit, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. Accepted payment is Zelle, Cash App, cash and Visa debit or credit, with a possible processing fee on card and Cash App payments. Services are not refundable and all sales are final.

Human, synthetic curly, crochet and similar hair must be supplied by the client, and braiding hair should be pre-stretched. For synthetic styles the salon recommends Freetress and Maydee Deep Twist. Hair can also be bought through the salon's online shop with in-person pickup, and the stylist preps it.
