Asattah

Asattah offers hair services from a home-based salon suite in East Orange. The menu covers braids, twists, natural hair services, weave installs, color, cuts and pony tail styling, and consultations are available for clients who want to talk through a service first.

Alongside the in-person work, the business sells luxury hair extensions online under the Smoochie Extensions name. The range includes bundles, wigs, frontals and closures, 613 collection hair, braiding hair and clip-ins. Bundle deals are offered, buy now, pay later options are available on extension purchases, and fast shipping and same day delivery are offered on extensions. Shipping and refund policies are published for extension orders.

Appointments are held with a deposit, which is non-refundable. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice; later cancellations are charged 25% of the service fee, and missed appointments without notice are charged the full fee to the card on file. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late pay an extra fee, and no extra guests are allowed at appointments. The business is open Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM. A full policy is available and should be read before booking.
