Artistic Skin Care runs its main salon on East Warner Road in Tempe and a second location in Suite 101 of the Total Image Beauty Mall on South McClintock Drive. The menu is built mostly around facials and waxing, with separate men's sections for both, and the business also lists skin tag and mole removal, eyelash extensions and gift certificates.

Facials run from a mini teen option to a microdermabrasion facial at the top of the menu. In between are classic European and aromatherapy facials, back treatments, acne-focused facials, glycolic and salicylic options, a Tomato Treatment and a seven-day Jessner treatment, which requires two weeks of sunblock use. The salon calls its acne and extraction work a specialty and describes the Tomato Treatment as one of its most popular acne treatments. Extractions are done by hand where possible.

The men's menu includes many of the same facials and adds a grooming package that combines waxing of the ears, nose and brows with a steamed mini facial and extractions. The salon says waxing removes hair slightly below the surface, with results lasting two to five weeks that vary by person.

Appointments are requested by email, and the salon calls back to confirm. The salon is open four days a week, with other days available by special request. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice to avoid full charges, and a last-minute cancellation is treated as a no-show. Consultations are free. Waxes booked before 8:00 am require full payment by credit card, and multiple waxes totaling over $150 receive a discount. Children should not be left waiting unsupervised, so the salon asks that they stay home, and clients are asked to leave valuables at home. Prices are subject to change.

Gift certificates are available for purchase. They are treated as deposits and may not be refundable for no-shows, cannot be applied to other services, and need to be mentioned when booking.

Steaming is part of the facial process, and extraction favors hand work, with a tool reserved for cases where hand work is not enough.
