Whole body cryotherapy is the core service. A session lasts up to three minutes in an octagon-shaped chamber: the client stands on a platform while their head stays above the chamber. The chamber uses nitrogen-chilled air between -190 and -270 degrees Fahrenheit, set from a touch panel. The business traces the practice to a 1978 method developed in Japan that used brief freezing treatments for pain management.
Facial and spot treatments are shorter, 10-minute sessions. The cryo-facial directs a controlled stream of cold air over the face, scalp and neck, and the business says it helps reduce pore size, stimulate collagen and calm inflammation and puffiness. The localized spot treatment applies a controlled beam of cold air to one area. Normatec, cryo-facial and spot treatment sessions each include a complimentary 20-minute Medi-Crystal infrared mat session.
CryoEMS combines cryolipolysis cooling, electric muscle stimulation and LED light, and is offered for the body and the face as a fat reduction and toning treatment that requires no surgery or downtime. Up to six cooling plates are placed on the body, operating between +2 and 0 degrees Celsius. According to the business, fat reduction can take up to 90 days, with most clients noticing changes within the first two weeks.
Memberships are billed monthly by automatic withdrawal from the card on file on the member's anniversary date, and carry a 90-day minimum. Ending a membership requires three business days' notice before the billing date. Memberships cannot be shared, benefits do not carry over and are not refundable. Packages expire two years after purchase, and unused benefits are forfeited at that point. Package benefits can be gifted or transferred to another person, but are not reimbursed if unused. The business also maintains a research page with downloadable studies on cryotherapy covering topics such as muscle damage, low back pain and multiple sclerosis.
Whole body cryotherapy is presented as a method rooted in early pain-management practice, and the business describes it as an effective way to support overall well-being.
