Arbor & Root sits in the center of Londonderry, NH, at 1A Commons Drive, Unit 4. The salon works by appointment only, and its studio was built from the ground up using upcycled and recycled materials, so the space itself reflects its commitment to sustainability.

The salon's mission centers on celebrating one another and fostering connection, both in the hair created and in the environment where the work happens. Its core values are intention, integrity, creativity and connection, and it aims to run a sustainable salon by choosing sustainable products.

Booking works differently from a single front desk. Stylists are independent and each manages their own schedule, so clients book by contacting the stylist they want through that stylist's preferred channels. Each stylist sets their own services and prices, and clients are asked to reach out to their stylist directly for pricing.

While waiting or relaxing, clients can borrow from a giving library in the studio. Artwork throughout the salon was made by local artists.
