The team works on location, so artists go to the venue for weddings and special events. Booking starts with an online contact form or email, followed by a video consultation. The signed Hair and Makeup Service Contract and initial deposit must arrive within 5 days to hold a date, and bookings are first-come, first-served. After booking, clients share inspiration photos, a color palette, flower colors and the wedding aesthetic so looks can be tailored. Artists are assigned by availability, experience and fit, and specific requests are best made when inquiring. Inquiries get a reply within 2 to 3 business days.

Previews are scheduled 1 to 4 months before the wedding, once inspiration photos are in, and a bridal trial is recommended in the same window after the deposit. Both previews are mandatory unless a client is hiring only for hair or only for makeup. Previews do not count toward the four-service minimum. Clients who plan major hair changes such as extensions, color or cutting two or more inches should mention it before scheduling a trial. Clients should also disclose allergies or sensitivities in advance.

Every wedding requires at least four services with no exceptions, and a single makeup application or hairstyle counts as one service. Laura B's personal service minimum is $550 in wedding day services, team-led weddings have a $400 minimum, and San Diego weddings personally served by Laura B have a $600 minimum in hair and makeup. Any shortfall is added to the final total. A typical wedding day needs at least 4.5 hours for four or more services, and parties of 18 to 20 services need 5 hours. Four artists can usually cover 18 to 20 services.

Quoted prices exclude gratuity. An 18% gratuity is added for parties of four or more services, though it is not included in bridal trials. Additional charges can include a $100 second venue fee, a $55 early start fee per artist when an artist must travel or arrive by 7:30 AM or earlier, a $100 last minute booking fee for bookings confirmed 60 days or less before the wedding, and travel at $0.70 per mile round trip per artist for weddings more than 10 miles outside Minneapolis. Parking and applicable travel expenses are added to the final total. Cash, Venmo and card are accepted, with a 3% processing fee on card payments.
