Applause! HD Hair Salon and Applause! HD Nail Salon & Spa. The business says its mission is to give each client a high level of customer service, with the aim of building long-lasting relationships based on trust and commitment.

Applause HD Beauty Academy offers a 480-hour Natural Hair Care Program covering braiding, twisting, locs, natural hair styling, scalp care and professional practices, with business development and entrepreneurship education included. The program runs as a six-month cohort with added trainings, workshops, guest educators and career development opportunities. Day cohorts meet Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and evening cohorts meet Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Classes are scheduled to begin August 24, 2026.

The academy has three upfront charges. An application fee of $75 is due when applying. It is non-refundable and does not guarantee admission or enrollment. Once an applicant is accepted, a $350 enrollment deposit reserves their seat. A $500 student kit fee is payable when kits are ordered. Tuition covers an iPad and a professional student kit, along with placement support. To have instructional hours reported to the North Carolina State Board, students need to keep their tuition payments up to date.
