Antons is a family business led by a mother and daughter who both previously owned beauty schools. According to the salon, the team brings decades of expertise across color work, styling, makeup and teaching beauty. The salon says clients come from throughout New York and New Jersey because services are tailored to each person.
Visits begin with a free consultation, either in person or over the phone. For phone consultations, clients can send photos ahead so the color can be planned before the appointment. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours notice, and clients can ask for a preferred stylist when they book.
Color is the salon's main focus, with highlights, balayage, foilyage, dimensional color and color correction. Other services include haircuts and blowouts, a keratin smoothing treatment, extensions, facials, waxing, permanent makeup and bridal hair and makeup, which can be done at the client's home or as a trial. Wedding and special occasion work is arranged by contacting Rosemarie or Colette directly.
Color is planned around each client through consultations, including phone consultations where photos can be shared in advance.
