Its founders, Barbara and Leon Prete, later became laser educators and started one of the first laser hair removal businesses in Connecticut. The business expanded its services and took its current name, Anti-Aging Centers of Connecticut. It says its founders created a laser training program that has helped credential hundreds of MDs, APRNs, RNs, estheticians and others.

There are two locations. The West Haven office is on the first floor at Campbell Avenue, with parking and the entrance at the rear; if that lot is full, the site suggests parking across the street. The Fairfield office is on the third floor of the Westport National Bank building on Kings Highway East, and drivers are told to enter 490 Castle Ave in GPS to reach the parking lot. Clients are asked to complete intake forms before a first appointment, and many services can also be arranged as virtual consultations. Injectables consultations are offered free of charge.

Skin care runs from Biologique Recherche facials in 45 to 120 minute sessions to Hydrafacial and PCA chemical peels. The business also offers body treatments, skin rejuvenation procedures, hair restoration and wellness drips and shots. The site says laser hair removal memberships save up to 70% off list price when paid annually.

Payment is accepted by major credit cards, cash, Google Pay and Apple Pay, and financing is available through Cherry, PatientFi, CareCredit, Affirm and Klarna. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 48 hours notice, with fees applying to late cancellations depending on appointment length. Services are not refunded, but unused portions can be converted into credit.

Each client receives a personalized treatment plan built after the team learns about their concerns and goals. Injectable plans are based on facial anatomy and conservative planning, and the team may suggest treating less or taking a different approach.
