Anointed Beauty Studio

Anointed Beauty Studio LLC is a small studio at 6525 Bisby Lake Ave. Its founder, Ciara Otero-Vidal, is a senior esthetician, and the studio describes itself as more than a beauty studio, a place of restoration. The studio is open Sunday, Saturday and Friday mornings and afternoons, and Wednesday and Thursday until 7PM, and is closed Monday and Tuesday.

The facials are the center of the menu. Every treatment is tailored, because the studio holds that no two faces or skin histories are alike, and each session is chosen from the client's current skin condition, what they hope to achieve and how much time they have. Three set lengths are offered: a 60-minute Sacred Facial at approximately $130, a 90-minute Restore Facial at approximately $180, and a 120-minute Renew Facial at approximately $240. Within a session, practitioners may draw on relaxing facial massage, dermaplaning, microchanneling, LED light therapy, a custom mask, oxygen therapy, light to advanced chemical peels, buccal massage and DMK enzyme therapy. The Buccal + Sculpt Facial is a massage-based treatment meant to lift and contour the face and ease facial tension; the Sculpt & Buccal Facial is listed without a price.

Eye and brow services are also offered. The Korean Lash Lift curls natural lashes from the root without extensions, at $90, and the curl is described as lasting six to eight weeks. Clients are asked to keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours, brush them daily with a clean spoolie, avoid rubbing the eyes and skip waterproof mascara. Brow lamination, also called a brow sculpt or brow lift, is essentially a perm for brows and gives them a fuller, more even look; the studio says it can help brows stay in place after cosmetics are washed off. A Brow Lamination + Shape is priced at $90. Waxing covers brows, lip, chin and sideburns.

The studio blends advanced skin therapies with gentle, nurturing care, and says it aims to support the skin's own ability to heal and restore.
