Anna Emmons Studio + Design works across hair and skin from two locations: Highland Village, inside Sandi Hammons Studios, and Flower Mound. The studio is run by owner Anna Bates Emmons, who has worked as a hair artist in the north Dallas area for two decades, and by Anna Emmons, a certified fibroblast provider.

On the hair side, the menu includes all-over color, root touch-ups, partial and full highlights, dimensional color painting, color glazes, women's and children's cuts, blowouts with a hot tools add-on, a keratin smoothing complex and a deep moisture mask or scalp treatment. Hair appointments are offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9am to 6pm. Hair painting begins with an initial consultation.

Skin services include Rhonda Allison chemical peels with post-care, Rhonda Allison corrective facials, Dermaplane Pro facials, a HydroDiamond facial, and Celluma light therapy with package options. Peels are customized to each client's skin on the day of treatment, and the studio suggests two to four peels a year starting in the fall. Progressive, mid-depth and deep peels are offered at different intervals, and peel hours are Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 5pm.

Fibroblast skin tightening is a non-surgical option that uses a plasma pen to lift and tighten a chosen area without penetrating the skin. It is priced by area, from frown lines and crow's feet to full-face and body combinations, and can address age and sunspots, wrinkles, eyelids, the neck and loose skin on the body. Most areas take one to three sessions, and the studio describes results as lasting two to four years. The treatment leaves a superficial burn in a set pattern, with scabs typically lifting in five to seven days on the face and longer elsewhere. Fibroblast hours are Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 6pm, and first-time fibroblast clients receive 30% off one surface-area treatment.

Booking a fibroblast treatment requires a 25% deposit that is subtracted from the final payment; deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice or a $50 fee is charged to the card on file, and a $200 no-show fee applies. A consent form must be completed before the appointment. For four weeks beforehand, clients are asked to avoid Botox or fillers in the forehead and brow area, chemical peels, laser treatments, and tanning or heavy sun. Fibroblast is listed with contraindications including pregnancy, breastfeeding, Accutane use within the past year, and certain skin and immune conditions. The shop does not admit children under 18, so check that before booking the children's haircut listed for ages 8 and up. Gift cards are available.

The studio describes its products as luxury and clean, and peel treatments are adjusted to each client's skin at the time of treatment.
