AMR Lash Bar

AMR Lash Bar started in 2018 as a side business run from a spare bedroom in California. It later opened a salon location in Jacksonville, Florida.

The studio aims to deliver quality services and products while educating and growing its lash community. It says it was founded to support women and men both as clients and as lash artists. Each client gets a custom lash look, and the business says it prioritizes the health of natural lashes.

A first extension appointment runs roughly 2 to 3.5 hours, and extensions typically last 3 to 4 weeks, with 2 to 3 week fill-ins recommended. Before an appointment, clients are asked to arrive with a clean face, free of makeup, moisturizer and adhesive residue, and to skip caffeine. Makeup remover wipes are available on request. Extra guests are not allowed. The business aims for a comfortable, relaxing setting.

Beyond appointments, AMR Lash Bar runs lash training: a 3-day Classic and Volume course, separate 2-day Classic and 2-day Volume courses, and a 1 to 2 day Classic/Volume refresher focused on technique, placement and retention. Courses include a training manual, a training kit, live model practice, and business mentorship covering business registration, social media ads and marketing. Students receive a certificate of completion and complimentary mentorship and shadowing with the owners. The studio also sells a full line of lash products, which it says are hand tested by its lash artists.

The studio creates custom lash looks for each client and states that it prioritizes the health of natural lashes. It also says extensions do not harm natural lashes when applied properly.
