Amanda K Styling is a private, appointment-only studio in Spring, Texas. Its founder, Amanda, has more than two decades of experience behind the chair and chose to specialize in one extension method, Natural Beaded Row, rather than offer several systems. The studio does no other services.

Every client starts with an application. Applicants send recent front and back photos of their current hair, taken indoors in natural light by someone else. The application reviews hair history, density, scalp health and structural integrity, because extensions do not suit every hair type. Applicants who are a fit move on to a consultation, where the installation is customized.

The first installation uses custom NBR hair, color blended across multiple tones, a precision cut, and styling and finishing. Row placement is planned for balanced weight distribution. First-time clients typically spend $2,000 to $4,000, with the price depending on desired length, natural hair density and the number of rows. Move-up maintenance visits are required every six to eight weeks and typically cost $600 to $800, depending on color refresh, row adjustments and hair replacement timing. Extension hair is generally replaced every four to six months.
