Alter Ego Styling Studio is a hair studio on Westcreek Drive in Fort Worth. The menu centers on relaxers, silk presses, weaves and sew-ins, with cuts, color, deep conditioning and keratin smoothing treatments alongside. Eyebrow shaping is also offered.

Booking works by request. Appointments stay as requests until the stylist formally confirms them, and every service needs a deposit: $50 for weaves, closures, frontals, tape-ins and silk press, and $25 for everything else. Deposits go toward the total and cannot be refunded or transferred. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late are asked to reschedule, and each service time covers only the work listed at booking. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, and the salon is closed Sundays. Appointments on Sundays or on the owner's off day carry a $100 extra fee.

Consultations can be done by FaceTime, by phone or in person. Permanent hair color can only be booked after a consultation, and the Elite Bond K-Tip installation is scheduled once its deposit is paid. Bundles should be brought in one to two weeks before the appointment and cannot be colored and installed on the same day. Detangling carries a fee if hair is not fully detangled or braids are still in when the client arrives.

For sew-ins and weaves, the Basic Sew-In with Leave-Out covers one to three bundles, with $25 for each extra bundle. The Full Sew-In with Closure takes about four hours, and hair is not included, so the total starts at around $150 at checkout. Quick weaves with a leave-out braid the hair down, apply a bonding shield and attach extensions with a bonding method. The salon also sells raw Indonesian bundles and closures in lengths from 14 to 28 inches, starting at $125.

The Alter Ego Experience is a prepaid package of four pre-booked visits for $240, with each visit running at least 90 minutes. Visits must be booked in order: a missed day can be rebooked, but weeks cannot be skipped, and any unused package does not roll over. Afterpay is accepted as a payment option.

Appointments are confirmed one at a time, and several services begin with a consultation or a deposit before the work is booked.
