The two locations offer different mixes. Greenville focuses on signature blowouts, creative coloring and cuts. Wilmington adds headspa services, hair treatments, extensions, brows, lashes, facials and waxing. ALO Blow, the blow-dry, extension and color bar, has plush reclining spa chairs and a drink menu, and the business calls it the premier blow-dry, extension and color bar in northern Delaware.

Color is planned around each client's hair history and goals rather than standard full or partial foil packages. New clients complete a new guest application, and the team contacts them within 48 hours to schedule. A 20-minute new guest consultation is required before color, extension and other services, with a $50 deposit to book after it. Color is not left wet; a free dry-off option gives a rough dry so clients can see the color before a full finish.

Sustainability shapes daily operations. Product bottles and plastic packaging are recycled through the Green Circle Salons program, and foils, color tubes, extra color and clippings go to Green Circle Salon HQ to be broken down and downcycled. The salon says it recycles 95% of its salon waste, works only with brands that put the environment first, and aims to keep the studio as carbon neutral as possible. A $2 environmental stewardship fee is added to each visit to cover recycling of beauty waste.

ALO On The Go brings hair, makeup and extensions on location for weddings, life events, girls' nights out, bachelorette parties and other special occasions. The business states it can provide an artist for any event.
