The salon's focus is maintaining natural dreadlocks and natural hair of every texture. It says it believes knowledge and good nourishment lead to healthy hair, nails and skin, and it spends time teaching clients about the products that strengthen and maintain natural hair.

The menu is organized into adult loc services, adult natural hair styling, chemical services for highlights and lowlights, color, braids, hair cuts, treatments, and a children's line for ages 5 to 12. Dreadlock pricing depends on the service, from lock styles and starter locs to basic re-twists, root interlocking and shampoo with re-twist. Crochet pricing depends on the hair the client supplies, so clients are asked to say which hair they plan to use when they book.

Visits are by appointment only. A non-refundable deposit holds the booking and is applied to the total at checkout, and it must be paid before booking online or by phone. Clients who arrive more than 20 minutes late have their appointment cancelled, and cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead are charged half the booked cost, except for real emergencies. Parents of children being serviced wait in a separate area. Gift cards are available as e-gift cards with a choice of design, occasion and amount.

The salon works from the belief that product knowledge and good nourishment support healthy hair, nails and skin. It teaches clients which products strengthen and maintain natural textures.
