The salon started in 2013 as All Dolled Up Salon, built from the ground up, and later moved into a storefront at 946 Bay Ridge Rd. Owner Kimberly Zimmerman, a senior cosmetologist, founded it and works there as a colorist.
Color is the core of the menu and is grouped by shade family. Brunette services focus on soft mocha tones and deeper espresso shades, blonde services on bright, dimensional looks, and red hair services on warm copper and deep crimson. Grey blending is offered for clients who want to keep their natural grey while adding dimension with less upkeep.
Other services include balayage, highlights, lowlights, root color, toners and glazes, blowdries, cuts, extensions, keratin treatments and brow shaping and tinting. Each service is listed with its time and a price or starting price.
eGift cards can be bought in amounts from $25 to $200. They can be emailed with a personal message and a chosen delivery date and time, and they never expire.
Each visit is planned around the client, from choosing a palette to shaping the finished style, with attention to keeping hair healthy.
