The salon's signature process is the Foil on the Round Technique, which Lia developed. It can be adjusted for a softer, introductory balayage or for a more dramatic result. Balayage at the salon is freehand-painted lightening that gets lighter toward the ends and includes a brighter front section. Gray Blending is designed to soften gray while keeping natural dimension through highlights, lowlights or other techniques.

A visit usually starts with a consultation, which is offered from $60, lasts 30 minutes and covers hair goals, color options, upkeep and a longer-term hair plan. Consultations are booked as separate appointments before a cut, color or lightening service. A consultation is required before booking Specialty Creative Color, Corrective Color or Transformation Color, which are priced after the consultation. Lightening and color prices are starting points; the final cost rises with extra time or product, hair length and density. Lightening and color services include a bond builder, toner, and blow-dry and styling. The color bar doubles as a work station with USB outlets and room for clients to work or bring children.

Extension appointments are customized to each client's hair type, lifestyle and goals, including the method, color match and placement. Secret Sides is a low-commitment upgrade that uses hidden pieces to add fullness around the face and is applied without bleach.

Online appointments can be booked up to 180 days ahead. Cancellations are requested at least 24 hours before the appointment; later cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled service to the card on file, and a no-call, no-show is charged the full amount. The team hosts in-salon and on-location classes taught by stylists from Miami, Paris, London and Milan. The team reports training with Redken 5th Avenue, Nick Arrojo, the TIGI World Release and the Redken Symposium, and says it has attended Expressions and The Color Show. The salon also published a coloring book, Dreaming in Color, featuring pictures of the team and some clients.

Color is the core of the work, built on a signature foiling method that can be tailored from a soft introductory balayage to a bolder change. Larger color changes are planned through a consultation before booking.
