Booking works in two ways. New guests request an appointment, which the team confirms, and fill out the General Release form on the Forms page to secure it; arriving 10 minutes early is asked. Existing guests request times that the team confirms against the artist's schedule. Clients can book through the salon's app, which also shows appointments, stylist bios and reviews, lets them refer friends and buys gift certificates, or they can book by phone if online booking is not working. Guests can email their artist directly, and clients are asked not to wear expensive or favorite clothing to appointments.

Custom curly cuts are made for natural, dry curls, from loose waves to tight coils. Curly cut bookings begin by emailing photos of natural curls, along with the client's name and phone number, to CurlyCuts@fringeoflombard.com. A first curly cut includes a complimentary consultation and takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and it includes a coaching session on cleansing, conditioning and styling curls at home. Later visits take 1 to 1.25 hours. Clients are asked to arrive with dry, detangled hair free of headbands or ponytails, and detangling is available for an extra charge when needed.

Prices are starting prices and rise with hair history, density, the artist and other factors. Level 1 pricing is available, and clients are asked to call for details. The salon sells luxury hair and skincare products and gift cards, which can be bought on the website.
