Alchemist Skin Studio

Alchemist Skin Studio is a small, appointment-only studio in Bellevue, operating from Phenix Salon Suites inside Crossroads Mall. It is open Tuesday and Saturday from mid-morning to mid-afternoon and Thursday and Friday until late afternoon, and it is closed Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. Clients can reach the studio by text or email.

The studio takes a deliberate approach to skincare, choosing products and methods for each client's skin condition and goals. The menu is divided into customized facials and advanced treatments. A signature customized facial runs 75 minutes and includes double cleansing, skin analysis, enzyme exfoliation, extractions, a custom mask and finishing products. Seasonal facials are offered only in October and November, and they add fruit- and coffee-based enzymes and whipped masks, with dermaplaning in the 90-minute Harvest Glow version.

Advanced treatments include a 90-minute oxygen facial with Carboxy Therapy and LED light therapy for blemish-prone, congested skin, and a 120-minute anti-aging oxygen facial that begins with dermaplaning and adds a lifting mask and ultrasonic serum infusion. The Green Sea Peel, also called Liquid Microneedling, is a 60-minute treatment that uses marine-sponge spicules rather than acids to create micro-channels in the skin. It must be booked directly with the esthetician rather than online. A 60-minute back facial with a cranberry or pumpkin peel, steam, extractions and a light massage is also offered.

Bookings need a card on file, and a client intake and consent form must be completed before the visit. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours ahead; later changes carry a $35 fee. Before a facial, clients are asked to avoid chemical exfoliants and scrubs for two to three days, and retinoids, waxing, shaving and dermaplaning for 72 hours. A wait of at least two weeks is needed after Botox, dermal filler or microneedling, and one month after laser, IPL, microblading or permanent makeup. Facials are not booked during an active cold sore or sunburn. Afterward, clients skip retinoids and exfoliants for 48 hours, wear SPF 30 or higher daily, and are typically advised to return every four to six weeks.

Each treatment is chosen deliberately for the client's skin needs and goals rather than from a fixed routine.
