AFA delivers hormone therapy using Biote pellets, small custom-compounded doses meant for symptoms tied to hormonal imbalance. The practice calls its method bioidentical hormone replacement, a supplemental hormone with a molecular structure similar to what the body produces, and says the Biote Method may help hormone levels stay stable across the day. The practice lists heavy or irregular periods, reduced bone density, hot flashes, night sweats and vaginal dryness as signs of hormone imbalance in women. It also states that hormone optimization with Biote may support energy, mood, sleep, weight loss, mental clarity and libido. Botox Cosmetic is among the injectable treatments offered. According to the practice, the FDA approved it in 2002 to temporarily soften the appearance of moderate-to-severe lines between the brows, at the outer corners of the eyes and across the forehead in adults. The treatment temporarily relaxes the muscles that cause these lines, involves little recovery time so people can resume normal activities right after the appointment, and may begin to show effects within one to two days, with complete results around the 30-day mark. The practice describes outcomes as predictable and natural-looking, and says it considers Botox Cosmetic the top-selling treatment of its kind globally.

Vaginal rejuvenation is offered through MonaLisa Touch, an in-office fractional laser procedure that the practice says takes less than five minutes and has virtually no downtime. It is non-hormonal and chemical-free, and it is FDA approved for women's health symptoms caused by menopause and postmenopause. The practice says thousands of women have had the treatment since 2012 and that it can improve or eliminate vaginal dryness, burning, itching, painful urination, urinary incontinence and painful intercourse. The practice lists conditions where the treatment is not used, including pregnancy or the three months after giving birth, an active vaginal or vulvar infection, prolapse beyond the hymen, untreated lesions in the treatment area, radiation history to the vaginal or colorectal tissue, certain pelvic reconstruction with mesh, impaired wound healing, keloid formation, anticoagulation treatment, or a thromboembolic condition. Possible side effects it lists include spotting, mild vaginal bleeding, discharge, redness, swelling, itching, irritation, burning upon urination and discomfort.
