Each visit typically starts with a free consultation with Dr. Chang or with one of the laser and injection nurses who specialize in cosmetic work. During this meeting the clinician judges whether a given treatment is a good fit for the client. Appointments for consultations can be made online or by calling 703-729-5553. For certain treatments the team relies on VECTRA 3D imaging to give a sense of likely outcomes beforehand. The office keeps Monday through Thursday hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Friday hours from 9 am to 3 pm, and stays shut on weekends.

The center groups its services into injectables, non-surgical innovations, skin treatments and surgical procedures. Injectables include BOTOX, DAXXIFY and dermal fillers. Non-surgical options include CoolSculpting, CoolTone, miraDry and the DiVa laser for vaginal rejuvenation. Skin treatments include Forever Young BBL, Micro Laser Peel and Triple Laser. miraDry is a noninvasive treatment for underarm sweating and odor that uses microwave energy to reach the sweat and odor glands in the underarms. The area is numbed with local anesthesia and marked with a temporary tattoo beforehand, and patients are asked to shave before the visit and skip deodorant that morning. Most patients return to regular activity, including work, right away. Swelling, numbness, bruising and sensitivity may last several days, and ice is advised for the first day. The center says miraDry is FDA cleared and is the only FDA-cleared non-invasive treatment for long-lasting relief from excessive underarm sweat and odor. It cites average reductions of 82 percent in sweat and 89 percent in odor, and describes its relief as guaranteed. Treatment is currently approved only for the underarms. The center describes itself as rated number one in Northern Virginia and in Loudoun County, and says the Loudoun Times Mirror voted it number one for several years in a row.
