Aesthetic Evolution

Aesthetic Evolution, PLC is run by owner Haley Outcalt, FNP-C, in partnership with medical director Dr. Mary Ivey. The practice describes itself as keeping up with scientific evidence and applying it in clinical care, and says its treatments change as medicine changes.

The aesthetic menu includes wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers and collagen stimulators, along with Skinpen microneedling with Crown Aesthetics, chemical peels and medical grade skincare. Facial work covers full face rejuvenation, facial balancing and harmony, lip augmentation and decolletage rejuvenation.

The holistic side of the practice offers vitamin supplementation recommendations, stress reduction, medical weight loss, IV therapy with vitamin injections such as B12 and glutathione, an Immunity IV drip, and NAD+ injections or infusions. A Metabolic Method service is also listed. The practice considers physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual health together in this work.

Botox is used for several targeted concerns: excessive sweating, chronic migraines, TMJ and teeth grinding, trapezius and shoulder pain (which the site calls Traptox), and facial symmetry for people with partial facial paralysis from Bell's palsy. Microtox is a technique using many small Botox injections just below the surface, used to smooth and tighten skin on the face, neck and around the eyes, reduce the look of large pores, and address facial flushing and sweating. Microtox sessions are listed as under 20 minutes with no downtime, and a consultation is required to determine candidacy.

Mobile concierge appointments are available in the Greater Grand Rapids area, with a listed travel fee of $50 within Grand Rapids city limits and $75 outside them; for some treatments the fee is based on mileage. The practice also hosts private events, including ladies' nights at the office or a client's home and collaborations at event spaces. It has partnered with salons in West Michigan, including Perfect Image Salon in Plainwell, Liz Ryan Salon and Spa in South Haven, Kalamazoo Rejuvenation in Kalamazoo and Amber Nicole Salon in Ludington. An online shop sells skincare and supplements.

For professionals, Aesthetic Evolution offers in-office hands-on training for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and registered nurses, a small group Neurotoxin Foundation course on neurotoxins, and consulting for medical aesthetic professionals in Michigan. Dermal filler training requires at least 3 to 6 months of working or mentoring in aesthetic medicine, and interested trainees send a resume and cover letter. Shadow days for people exploring aesthetics and mentorships by interview are also offered, with pricing available on request.

Treatment planning begins with a review of skin history, lifestyle and environment, and the practice combines aesthetic and holistic medicine to consider the whole person.
