Absolute Precision Skincare is a facial and peel studio on Belmont Avenue in Chicago that welcomes both men and women. Everything is by appointment, with evening hours on Monday through Wednesday, a shorter Thursday afternoon and evening schedule, and daytime hours Friday through Sunday. Kelly Mack owns the studio and works as its head esthetician, alongside a small team of estheticians.

Every treatment starts with a skin analysis and consultation. The Classic Signature Facial is customized for acne, aging, pigmentation or sensitivity and comes in a 60-minute version or a 30-minute express and teen version. The Advanced Signature Facial can be built up with microcurrent, LED, IonActive serums, microdermabrasion or IS Clinical Fire and Ice. The Ultimate Glow Facial and Peel is a customized 60-minute session that can add a chemical peel, microcurrent, LED, IonActive serums or microdermabrasion, and includes a complimentary PCA post-procedure kit.

Clinical facials can incorporate HydraFacial, OxyGeneo or DermalInfusion. The business describes HydraFacial as a non-invasive treatment for cleansing, exfoliation, extractions and hydration, OxyGeneo as combining oxygen and ultrasound, and DermalInfusion as a non-invasive resurfacing treatment with customizable serums. Other options include a 30-minute classic back treatment and dermaplaning, which uses a 10 gauge scalpel to remove dead skin cells and facial hair. Dermaplaning is recommended for all skin types except acneic skin, and clients with deep cystic acne are asked to wait until breakouts clear. ProCell Microchanneling, which the business says helps with fine lines, acne scars, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and firmness, is available with select staff only. The studio partners with PCA Skin, and its peels are not recommended for first-time clients; a consultation and patch test come before a first peel.

New clients complete a consult form and waiver before requesting an appointment. A credit card holds the booking. Changes need 24 hours' notice, and no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours may be charged the full appointment cost. Clients who need an earlier time can join a wait list through the contact form. Cash and major cards are accepted, but SpaFinder and WaySpa gift certificates are not. Gift certificates can be bought for a specific service or a dollar amount and are non-refundable.

The Red, Purple and Brown Line stations at Belmont are about four blocks east, and the Brown Line station at Southport is about two blocks north. Free parking is available on a nearby block on the south side of Belmont, so check posted signs. According to the business, Allure Magazine named it among the best facials in Chicago.
