ABO Hair Studio is a one-chair studio in Boston founded by Gabo Leon, who also serves as its Lead Barber. The studio is Studio #39 within the Sola Salons location at 3 Center Plaza, a short distance from Government Center.

Visits are by appointment only and can be booked online with instant confirmation, with online rescheduling available. To get in, clients press #39 on the keypad beside the Sola Salons door, which calls Gabo Leon down to let them in. The studio is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday.

The barbering menu runs from a 15-minute line-up to a 1 hour 15 minute Haircut & Beard Hot Towel. A 55-minute haircut includes a consultation, shampoo and conditioning wash, blowout and finish. The Haircut & Beard Hot Towel adds beard sculpting, a hot towel and a face massage. A head shave is a straight razor shave with hot towel and lather foam. The Corp Clean Up is a 30-minute uniform-style cut with a side trim on guards #2 to #6, square sideburns, a round or square neckline and a shears-cut top. A beard visit covers shape-up, edge work and a hot towel.

Hair system work starts with a 15-minute one-on-one consultation for $20, which covers goals, the process and a color-matching analysis. From there, the menu includes a $450 application, a $150 maintenance visit and a longer ABO Hair System Experience priced at $999.99.

Consistency and clean execution come first, with the aim of a calm, elevated studio where clients can relax.
