A Total Beauty Thing

Breanna 'BeBe' Curtis founded A Total Beauty Thing, which runs two brands: BeBeautiful, the client-facing side with appointments and membership, and Extended Beauty, the hair extensions and wigs line sold through the online shop.

Appointments take place at Sola Salon Studios in Beverly. Hours are Thursday and Friday from 10am to 8:30pm and Saturday from 9am to 5:30pm, and those times cover the full appointment from start to finish. Clients who want to bring hair in ahead of time can use the drop-off and pick-up option. Every install includes a complimentary Cleanse + Steam treatment using select Paul Mitchell hair care products. Clients wait in their vehicle until they are texted that the stylist is ready, and children and other guests are not allowed inside the salon.

Bookings open monthly on the second Monday at 5pm for the following month. Online booking requires a valid credit card, and a $1 validation charge is released after seven days. A $15 late fee applies after a 15-minute grace period, and appointments are canceled after 20 minutes. Cancellations within 24 hours, including those caused by lateness, are charged 50% of the service, and no-shows are charged in full. Payment is by Zelle, Apple Pay or the card on file, which carries an additional 5% transaction fee; cash is not accepted.

The Extended Beauty online shop sells luxury hair extensions, luxury lace wigs, bundle deals, and closures and frontals. The Luxury Lace Wig is listed at $410, HD lace closures at $160, HD lace frontals at $260, and a 613 HD closure and frontal set at $185. Brazilian BE STRAIGHT and BE WAVY bundles are each listed at $110, the Burmese Curly bundle at $120, and 613 BE VIBRANT at $110. Bundle deals are listed at $325 for Brazilian and $380 for 613 BE VIBRANT. Extended Beauty extensions are final sale, with no refunds or exchanges, and shipping is limited to the USA. Orders dispatch on Tuesdays and Thursdays and must be placed by 7pm CT on the Wednesday the week before an appointment.
