6 1 Face is run by owner Amanda Gross, a licensed esthetician, from its Columbus space on West 5th Avenue. Its menu covers facials, brow and lash services, waxing, permanent makeup, body treatments and a range of short add-ons that can be added to other visits.

Facials range from quick add-ons to 60 and 75 minute treatments, with a 120 minute Ayurveda-inspired ritual that uses warm herbal oil over the forehead and scalp along with Kansa massage. Permanent makeup includes Nano Brows, a semi-permanent technique done with a handheld tattoo machine, and touch-up sessions for existing color. A complimentary 30 minute consultation is required before any new permanent makeup client is booked.

Waxing covers small areas such as the brows, lip and chin, along with full face, arms, legs, underarms, bikini and body areas. Bridal makeup consultations are complimentary and last 30 minutes.

Bookings are made through the Glossgenius page, and changes go through the link in the confirmation email or text. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000 and needs approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 or $200 amounts or a custom value and cannot be refunded once sold. The studio is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 1 PM to 7 PM, Saturday from 12 PM to 6 PM, and closed Wednesday and Thursday.
