The Largo location on Seminole Blvd is where training is held. The 4-day course covers microblading plus shading and nano and ombre powder brows, running 10am to 5pm each day, with a starter kit, a PMU machine, a training manual, live demos, practice on a live model, a certificate of completion, and breakfast and lunch. The 2-day classic and volume lash course runs 9:30am to 5:30pm each day and includes a starter kit, a training manual, practice on a live model, a certificate and lunch. Students need blood-borne pathogen certification and a tattoo artist license to work on a live model. Students receive 15% off supply purchases from beautyslayerssupplies.com and, after training, can bring back two models within six months to practice under instructor supervision for a small fee.
Visits are by appointment only, with time set aside for each booking. A credit card on file secures appointments, and reminders go out 48 hours ahead by text, email or phone. Rescheduling needs at least 48 business hours' notice. Cancellations, no-shows and late arrivals are charged a fee of 30% of the full service price, and arriving 20 minutes late cancels the appointment. Touch-up pricing applies only to work done in the salon, and cosmetic tattooing is for clients 18 and older and is not performed on pregnant clients. Brow results are described as lasting about 1 to 2 years, with lip blushing lasting 2 to 3 years and touch-ups every 1.5 to 3 years.
Lash appointments take about 120 minutes for a full set and 60 to 75 minutes for a refill, and refills are advised every 2 to 3.5 weeks. Most clients need at least two treatments about 6 to 8 weeks apart. Fills require about 50% lash retention at the appointment, and lash shedding reported within 2 days is corrected at no extra charge if the guarantee work is booked within a week. If a client has an allergic reaction, the lashes are removed free of charge, and a patch test can be requested before an appointment. Refunds are not offered on services, and product purchases are final.
An appointment-only studio that sets aside time for each booking and works with clear pre-visit guidance, such as coming in makeup-free for lash work and checking health conditions before scheduling.
