2Twenty2 Hair works with natural hair, protective styles and extensions from its location on E. Shelby Drive in Memphis, a site it shares with Stitched Salon. Its menu runs from restyles and blow dries to silk presses, braid-downs, knotless takedowns, sew-ins, quickweaves, clip-in, tape-in and wig installs, and takedown and reinstall packages.

Every service includes shampoo. Clients are asked to arrive with hair as detangled as possible, and detangling that goes past 20 minutes adds a $15 fee. Guests cannot come along during services, and children must be at least 11 years old to be serviced. Hair for color add-ons needs to be dropped off 7 to 10 days before the appointment. Silk press services require hair at least neck length, and pixie cuts are not offered.

Experience packages, the QUICKWEAVE EXPERIENCE and SEW-IN EXPERIENCE, include up to three Indonesian wavy bundles in 12 to 20 inch lengths, a braid-down, the install and styling. These are ordered for each appointment, booked 5 to 7 business days ahead, and paid in full at booking. Longer lengths, curly texture upgrades and custom colors cost extra.

Booking and payment details: Apple Pay, debit and credit cards, and Cash App are accepted, with a $3 processing fee added to all services. Deposits range from $15 to $50 depending on the service. Cancellations need 48 hours notice through the booking site, otherwise a 20% fee applies, and clients more than 15 minutes late are cancelled and must rebook. Tuesdays are the shortest day, open 4 PM to 4:30 PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays run 9:30 AM to 6 PM, Fridays 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays 7:30 AM to 2 PM; the business is closed Sundays and Mondays.
