29Eleven The Salon opened in 2019 and was founded by Tiffany Wilson, who also works as a colorist and texture specialist there. Before opening the salon, she worked in the IT industry, which gave her a business background, and she had previously opened Fuse Style Bar in 2013. The salon's stated aim is to offer a new kind of salon experience for women in the Austin area.

The salon focuses on healthy hair care. Clients can book natural hair services, relaxed hair services and hair color, and the stylists handle textured hair, curly cuts, extensions, two-strand twists and fashion color. The salon does not take walk-ins, so visits are booked online or by phone, with a credit card kept on file to hold the appointment.

Visits are scheduled, and the salon asks clients to arrive on time, since appointments are not guaranteed after 15 minutes. Only one client is served per stylist, and guests beyond the client are not allowed in the salon. Clients may stay only while they are being serviced. Complimentary wi-fi, work tables, beverages and snacks are available, and the salon describes itself as friendly to remote workers.

Children ages 8 to 12 may be serviced at the salon's discretion for a $45 surcharge, and the salon recommends SC4Kids Salon for children under 8. Listed prices are a starting point, and extra fees may apply for highly dense or long hair, or a detangling fee if hair is very tangled and there is time to detangle it.
