Zoe Mejia

Zoe Mejia is the founder and director of ZOE Academy. She trained as a cosmetologist and works as a makeup artist and image consultant. She has more than 10 years of experience in the beauty industry. Earlier in her career she was a television presenter and model for a time.

Her specialties are skin correction and skin preparation, along with bridal styling and bridal consultation. She is a certified professional makeup artist in New York and holds international makeup perfecting titles from Brazilian and European programs. She has worked in Panama, El Salvador, New York, Mexico and Colombia, and has done makeup for New York Fashion Week, designers, musical artists and actors. Her work has appeared in national and international magazines, including Kodd Magazine of Paris.

In Colombia she created ZOE Salón Spa Boutique, a concept that brought beauty services together in one place, and she organized and pioneered the Tardes de Novia bridal events in Valledupar. She also ran the national Makeup Tour Zoe, visiting more than nine cities to teach self-makeup workshops, professional courses and image consulting.
