Zineb Moussafir

Zineb Moussafir is Director of Medical Aesthetics at Elle, where she manages day-to-day medical spa operations and staff, writes treatment protocols and patient care standards, and carries out advanced aesthetic treatments under medical supervision. Her career history begins in 2007 as a medical and surgical technician at Skin and Laser Surgery Center, PC. She then worked as a licensed medical aesthetician and surgical technician at Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute from 2012 to 2020, and has led medical aesthetics at Elle since 2021. She also owns and practices at Z Aesthetic Arts and Studios, which she has run since 2020.

She trained at the Esthetic Institute, completing the Licensed Medical Aesthetician program in 2015, and at Sanz School Med Tech, with a Registered Medical Assistant credential from 2006. She holds a Virginia state license as a Licensed Medical Aesthetician (L.M.A.). Her certifications include HALO Laser Provider, Sciton Certified Laser Technician (2013), CoolSculpting technician through Zeltiq University (2013) with master certification in 2018, Certified Master Ultherapy Provider (2014) and Plasma Pen Technician (2020). She is also a Master CoolSculpting Expert.

Her specialties include advanced laser treatments, body contouring with CoolSculpting, Ultherapy, Emsculpt Neo and Emsella, and regenerative treatments such as exosome therapy, PRP, PRF, salmon DNA therapy and microneedling with growth factors. She has treated acne, melasma, traumatic scarring, uneven skin tone and rosacea. She has been featured on Great Day Washington (WUSA9), is often asked by aesthetic companies for device peer review and training, and has been a featured author for Your Health Magazine and a contributing author for Washingtonian Magazine and the BCSI blog. She is a Top 10 Ultherapist in the U.S., with national recognition from Merz Aesthetics. Awards from DC Modern Luxury and Northern Virginia Magazine include MedSpa Director of the Year 2022 and Best of the City in 2024 and 2025.
