William Miller, MD

William Miller, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Scenic Dermatology in Chaska, Minnesota. He leads the practice and offers medical, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology for children, teenagers, adults and families, and he also leads skin check visits.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Washington and a Doctor of Medicine with distinction from UT Health San Antonio, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He also holds a Master of Public Health from the UT School of Public Health, where he was elected to Delta Omega, and a Master's in Global Health from Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. He completed his dermatology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, training in the medical, surgical and pediatric care of skin, hair and nail conditions.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, and he recently served on the Academy's Membership Committee. He completed a Certificate in Advanced Cosmetic Science from the Institute of Personal Care Science, a program involving approximately 300 hours of professional cosmetic-formulation study. His cosmetic work is part of his dermatology practice.

His approach is to understand each concern, explain the available options and their tradeoffs in plain terms, and recommend a plan suited to the patient or family's needs. Each decision is preceded by a careful evaluation and a direct discussion.
