Wendy Fitos

Wendy Fitos owns Just Facials & Lymphatic Therapy and has worked with the skin for twenty-five years. She holds a beauty therapy diploma from an accredited CIDESCO school, completed through a course of at least 1,200 hours, and is a CIDESCO Associate after completing the CIDESCO examinations and a thesis with case histories. She is licensed as an esthetician in Ohio and Pennsylvania and as a massage therapist by the Ohio State Medical Board.

Her lymphatic work is Manual Lymphatic Therapy. Her training includes the Certified Lymphedema Therapist program at the Dr. Vodder School and advanced manual lymph drainage for the head and neck. She works with how the lymphatic system affects the skin, including fluid drainage and the scars and bruising that follow cosmetic and other surgery. She also works with acne, rosacea, sun damage, pigmentation, skin changes linked to pregnancy and hormones, and the effects of cancer on the skin. Her training covers galvanic current, high-frequency technique, dermaplaning, threading and identifying skin cancers.

Her makeup training spans fashion, beauty and photography makeup at Complexions International in Toronto, and theatrical makeup at Cuyahoga Community College. She has also studied camouflage makeup for scars, burns, tattoos and rosacea, aging makeup and airbrush makeup, and her training includes eyelash and eyebrow tinting and eyebrow design. She holds an Advanced Esthetic Certification from Paris, France, and trained as an advanced practitioner in Alexandria body sugaring. She is listed as state captain for the Pro Beauty Association and has past work with brands including MAC Cosmetics, Chanel, Shiseido, Estee Lauder, Cover FX, Jacques Dessange, Paris Kevyn Aucoin, Glo Professional, Stila, Butter London and Lucie & Pompette.

She customizes each facial around the client's skin, taking current products and skin type into account and explaining the plan before treatment begins. Clients who want to learn what keeps their skin healthy are welcome, and routines can be discussed without judgment.
