Vikram Mookerjee

Vikram Mookerjee, M.D., is a plastic surgeon at Plastic Surgery Institute, practicing at the Beverly Hills and Rancho Mirage offices. He is Ivy League-educated and holds an M.D. He entered medical school directly from high school through a seven-year B.A./M.D. program at Boston University, and completed his plastic surgery residency at Yale University. He then completed a fellowship in the University of Southern California's Aesthetic Plastic Surgery program, which concentrates on cosmetic surgery of the face and body. According to the practice, during his Yale residency he received the Yale Plastic Surgery Scholastic Award for the highest In-Service exam score in his program, the Department of Surgery Helping Hand Award, and a Young Investigator Award for research in face transplantation and facial reconstruction. The practice also says that, by invitation, he serves as a Next Generation Editor on the editorial board of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. His particular focus areas include eyelid rejuvenation, breast surgery and the Preservation Facelift, a proprietary technique. He performs submandibular gland reduction as part of jawline contouring, and does both reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
