Uyen Tran owns Theory Hair Studio and drives its design and hair work. She attended Paul Mitchell The School in 2005, then apprenticed at an upscale salon in La Jolla, where she learned cutting and coloring under Thomas Leach.
Her training also includes time with DJ Muldoon, described as a former Vidal Sassoon educator, and other former Vidal Sassoon stylists. She has trained in more than nine color lines.
