About

Tymia Yvette, known to clients as Mia, owns the business and works as a beauty artist. Her practice draws on nearly 20 years of professional beauty experience across bridal, private, production and on-camera work. Early on, she worked part time with M·A·C Cosmetics while studying Fine Arts with a Graphic Design concentration at Morgan State University. She later spent 15 years with M·A·C, rising to Trainer of Artistry & Development. In that role she trained artists across Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia through regional and mega region sessions, and she developed hundreds more in technique, product knowledge, performance, sales and ongoing development.

Her work covers high-end bridal artistry, private clients, production, corporate, editorial and on-camera projects. Event and production credits include New York Fashion Week, the BET Honors, the White House Correspondents' Dinner and the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders. Her more recent work includes The Rockefeller Foundation's Big Bets for America: Baltimore, as well as television, editorial, corporate and production assignments.

She is a licensed Maryland eyelash extension technician with more than ten years in lash artistry. When she styles lashes, she takes into account each client's eye shape, natural lashes and facial features, and can achieve anything from wispy definition to fuller looks. She is certified in cosmetic tattooing by the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM).
