Traci Temmen

Traci Temmen owns Temmen Plastic Surgery in Tampa, Florida, and is a board-certified plastic surgeon. She also oversees the practice's med spa team. Her surgical work concentrates on cosmetic and plastic surgery of the face, breast and body. She is one of a small number of board-certified female plastic surgeons in the Tampa area, and one of Tampa Bay's preeminent board-certified female plastic surgeons.

She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry, awarded summa cum laude by the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she did organic chemistry research and later carried out similar work at MIT. She attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2001 to 2005 on a full-tuition scholarship, and during that time did clinical and basic science research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Her six-year plastic surgery residency was at the University of South Florida, where she was administrative chief resident in 2010 and 2011. She passed the American Board of Plastic Surgery written examination in 2011, scoring at the 97th percentile, and the board certified her in 2012. She co-authored a 2011 article on the gracilis muscle free flap in the journal Microsurgery. She keeps up with new techniques at plastic surgery conferences and belongs to several professional societies.

Her procedures include breast augmentation with implants, natural breast augmentation with fat grafting, liposuction and three-dimensional body sculpting, tummy tucks, Brazilian butt lifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid lifts, mini facelifts with fat injections, endoscopic and short scar forehead lifts, labiaplasty and other feminine plastic surgery, and facial rejuvenation. She received the 2021 Patients' Choice Award from Vitals.com and a 2021 Compassionate Doctor Award, and won the Best of Tampa Bay Award in 2017.
