Timea Tokes

Timea Tokes owns Skin by Timea, where she works as the esthetician. She started out in Hungary, later settled in California, and has more than 35 years in skin care. Her training includes facial work in the European style alongside massage, organic treatments, stone massage, reflexology, microcurrent, microphototherapy, galvanic therapy, organic and chemical peels, and Brazilian waxing. She has also trained with several skin care product lines.

Roughly a decade ago, Eminence Organic Skin Care selected her to represent the brand in Southern California. In that role she taught the Hungarian approach to skin care and Hungarian massage technique, and she worked with spa owners, managers and estheticians at resorts and day spas across the region. She later opened her own studio. Her current focus is dermo-corrective treatment for skin concerns. Her signature is a Hungarian facial massage built on rhythmic lifting movements, and she sees clients looking for corrective care as well as relaxing skin treatments.
