Tim Pearson

Tim Pearson is the principal groomer at Prism & Shear Grooming Atelier. He takes a skin-first approach that combines barbering with esthetics. He is a licensed barber, a licensed esthetician and a licensed tattoo artist. His training includes Sassoon Academy New York and advanced esthetics education with Christine Valmy.

He has more than 25 years of professional experience across grooming, skincare, makeup artistry and beauty education. His makeup work includes editorial, runway, theatrical and performance settings. He also works as a licensed instructor and trains artists and students as a global makeup educator. He holds certifications as an Associate Trichologist and as a Hair Loss Practitioner through USTI/AMCA.

Before treating, he reads facial structure and how the skin behaves, along with hair growth patterns and upkeep routines. Beard shape is weighed against buildup, dryness, irritation and ingrowns in the skin below. He works at a pace that allows proper assessment and personalized care.
