Thomas Shelton is Senior Stylist and owner at Level 6. He is a highly respected hairstylist and master colorist in Washington, DC, with a focus on color formulation, correction and customization. Earlier he ran Thomas Shelton Hair Design. He was named Best Hair Stylist by DC City Paper for 2011 through 2014. From 2018 to 2025 he served as a Goldwell Educator. His competition results include First Runner-Up at Hair Wars in 2003, plus entries in the Wella Color Contest (2005) and L'Oréal Real Color (2009). Publications that have featured him include Face Magazine (2011), Knot Magazine (2011), Washington Bride & Groom (2009) and Wink Magazine (2005, 2006 and 2009).
