About
Thomas A. Leach is the Medical Director of The Princeton Center for Plastic Surgery and a board-certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and board-certified in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey and has served the Princeton area for more than 29 years. He spent 17 years as a Major in the United States Army Reserves Medical Corps, attached to the 322nd General Hospital.
He earned a B.A. in biology at Rutgers College, then an M.D. at New Jersey Medical School. He completed a general surgery residency there, served as chief resident in general surgery, and finished a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the same school. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons, and he has published on surgical prophylaxis for pulmonary embolism and on a refined technique for antihelical folding in otoplasty.
His practice covers cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast and body. Facial work includes eyelid surgery, brow lifts, facelifts, ear shaping, fat transfer, neck lifts and facial and neck liposuction. Breast work includes augmentation, augmentation revision, implant removal, breast lifts and female and male breast reduction. Body work includes liposuction, laser liposuction (SmartLipo), fat transfer, upper arm lifts, mommy makeovers and tummy tucks. He also provides non-surgical facial and body treatments, including injectables and body shaping, and he performs all of his patients' injections himself. He has treated men, women and children for facial and body reconstructive needs.
According to the practice, he understands the complex anatomy of the face and body. He has also been recognized, according to the practice, as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for the New York Metro Area from 2005 through 2015, voted Top Beauty Doc by NJ Savvy Living Magazine in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and named Top Doctor 2005 in the plastic surgeon category by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. The practice also says he won the New Jersey state American College of Surgeons Residents' Trauma Competition in 1989.
