Thalia Kazakos Omar

Thalia Kazakos Omar practices as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine in New York and founded Muse Medicine. She is a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist. Her private practice in New York opened in 2023.

Before turning to medicine, she earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts in 2011 and worked in sustainable agriculture, on regenerative design and permaculture projects centered on apiculture and mycology. She has also taught dance and yoga and performed as a dancer and aerialist.

Her training began at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, where she studied from 2018 and graduated in September 2021 with a Master of Acupuncture, plus a Chinese Herbal Studies Certificate from the same school. She then trained at Pacific College of Health Sciences, graduating in August 2023 with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Her clinical interests cover regenerative medicine and women's health, as well as skin care, long-term illness, pain management and autoimmune conditions. Her approach is integrative, drawing on traditional, holistic and functional medicine, and tailors treatment to each person.
